We met Loren while on vacation in the San Diego area. On a whim, we decided to take a look at potential second homes. Loren was showing a home we were interested in. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and quickly steered us to the Encinitas area. In the space of 24 hours he had arranged for us to visit a number of excellent homes and we found our dream home. But the price was not so dreamy. While we had to return to Chicago, he stayed on top of the negotiations. Unfortunately, we ended up about $100k apart from the seller but Loren didn’t give up. He stayed in touch with the seller and a week later we had a deal at our price. But his great work didn’t end there. As we were looking to rent the home for the first year, Loren helped take care of many of the details; from organizing the landscaping and utilities to dealing with the neighbors to finding us a tenant. We have greatly appreciated his steady and calm demeanor and thoughtful counsel and would recommend him to anyone without reservation.
